CRAFT MINI-CLASSES

Special rocks (This one says: It's all about me). I have many craft mini-classes. Some for kids, some for teens, some for adults. I have many that I do, but if you'd like to teach a class let me know. We all learn from each other. Come share your talents.

URGENT CHILD CARE

Paradise Child Care was my baby for 18+ years. From new-borns to 10 years old. PGE’s SUMMER HOUSE has a lot going on, but all stops for Urgent child care. It is child-care only to give your child (ren) the care they deserve. Early to late is fine, as emergencies don’t have office hours. The time will be filled with intensive ‘let’s play and learn’ or ‘rest and read’ if they are over their illness but just need time to recuperate. My home only.

MEALTIME HELP

Meals when Dad, or especially Mom is away can be a trial. How would you like an extra hand? Help make your meal, feed the baby, watch the kids, do the clean up after or all of the above while you take a nap or bath the kids one by one as they finish dinner. Sometimes we just need a hand and it's okay to hire someone when things are going sideways.

Learn how to do up freezer meals, make homemade pyrogies, borsht and cabbage rolls. There are so many foods to explore. Mini-classes for everyone. Who doesn't love pancakes, waffles and french toast!

FOOD STORAGE

Food Preservation is amazing! It is so fun and creative from canning to dehydration to jams and jellies! Then there is freezing fruits and berries for smoothies, to pickles and salsas. All your own ingredients, all your own flavors, you are in control of it all. Then...there is drying herbs for your own herb mixes; and let's not forget drying flowers!

We love plants but sometimes we stress when there isn't someone we can trust to look after our baby plants when we are on business trips or finally get to have a holiday.

We love camping, but on the other hand, we, or someone we know is not free of emergencies. It is good to know what to do, how to do it, or to guide someone else during their emergency.

DOWN TIME

COME AND VISIT, Yes, it's okay if you fall asleep. We have lots of places to visit and lots of places for you butt to sit. Inside where it's warm, or cool (the opposite to outside), games tables, the dining room table, the sun room, the deck, out on the lawn, on a blanket, around the fire pit or at a mini-class under the white tents. We even have a single bed in the office where you can sleep by the fire. You are welcome to a popcorn and lemonade (although donations are welcome).

PLAYGROUND MEET UP

We will have specific days when we know it will be nice when we can meet-up at the playground and splash park.

So many options: Exercise park, tennis courts, baseball, soccer (someone will have to teach me these last two), badminton, go for a walk, have a picnic lunch by the gazebo. It's like someone built Peace Gardens right in town.
